The H1 was Kawasaki's 500 cc air-cooled two-stroke triple, a fast but smoky roadster that competed with Honda and Suzuki rivals of the late 1960s. This 1972-73 Mach III carried electronic ignition from 1970 onward and a restyled look in 1973. Production ended in the mid-1970s as emissions rules tightened, and the 500 KH replaced it in 1976.
